8 Port Serial over the NET™
The SN0108 Serial over the NET™ is a control unit that provides remote serial access to up to eight servers or other serial IT devices (hubs, routers, power management devices, etc.), via a TCP/IP connection. Up to eight users can log in at the same time from any computer connected to the Internet, whether down the hall, or half way around the world. Each is able to control a separate port so that eight attached devices can be accessed at the same time.

Complete Serial and Power Management Solution - Complete remote device management over the NET™ for 8 serial peripherals. The SN0108 is designed to work seamlessly with the PN0108 Power over the NET remote power management.
Centralized Control - Centrally manage and share a wide range of serial devices such as routers, hubs, modems and UPS at the rack.
Secure - Port specific, secure User authentication and multi-level login. Each port can be accessed individually by 8 users.
Network Access - Convenient browser access with an intuitive GUI; Telnet client access; and Terminal emulation access.
Compatibility - Java based Telnet client compatible with third-party SSH and Telnet clients.
Out of band options - Dial in modem access using Telnet or HyperTerminal, PPP (Browser).
Rack Mountable - 1U rack mountable.
Alarms and Alerts - Automatic email notification of error messages and full port activity logging.
Direct Port Addressing - Sessions may be established directly to any Serial over NET port using SSH.
Network Interface - Supports TCP/IP, UDP/IP, Telnet, SSH, SSL, PPP.
Sun Ready - Hardware break suppression ensures uninterrupted operation of your Solaris server.
Console port automatically detects and adjusts to incoming protocol.
Direct terminal attachment.
Hardware and software flow control - can alter and control the amount of data allotted to each application.
Easy Setup - Plugging cables into their ports is all it
takes.
