Beschreibung:
The Multi-IQ is an intelligent data manager for RS232-connections of UPS systems.
The Multi-IQ will work with all serial UPS software and will enable the simultaneous usage of all UPS functions and protocols by upto four different computers. The Multi-IQ can be cascaded up into the second tier without noticeable delays in performance so that theoretically 4³=256 computers can be integrated into the operating processes of the UPS.
An elaborate command management
system guarantees that all critical commands will be handled safely and allows each computer to execute all functions of operation without risk. The Multi-IQ recognizes which computers are running valid UPS processes.
In addition, the Multi-IQ possesses a contact interface in AS400-mode through which the UPS status can be obtained via four dry contact relays. Through this interface the UPS shutdown command can be executed using a high signal.
GENEREX can implement the native protocol
of any UPS type for usage with the Multi-IQ at a very low service cost. In addition and upon request, the Multi-IQ and be setup to support multiple protocols and can be set to automatically determine the UPS baud rates. |
