Windows application for logging data from sensors and inputs over a LAN (Poseidon, Damocles, HWg-STE).
The application produces MS Excel reports.

PDMS (Poseidon & Damocles Monitoring System) periodically collects values from inputs and sensors of devices connected to a LAN. Stored data are periodically saved as MS Excel reports.

o Registered version is free of charge for one year
o Data are collected over a LAN (via http and the device IP address / via an e-mail account)
o Data collection runs in the background as a Windows service

o Template: A MS Excel (XLS) file that imports data using macros. It is created by the PDMS software, users can edit the template.
o Data file: XML file periodically generated by PDMS and containing values from selected sensors.

How to create your own report

* HWg-PDMS inserts the currently logged data into the first sheet of the Excel file.
* If there are no data in the database, an empty cell is inserted.
o If the sensor is disconnected, "-999" is inserted.
o If the device is not accessible, "-998" is inserted.
* Use other sheets in the template to analyze your data (ideally producing one page ready for printing).
* When the template is loaded next time, current data are inserted into the first sheet and MS Excel updates the graphs and tables in other sheets.
* Even with lots of data, the report can be prepared and printed within 90 seconds.
