This slim-profile, dual Pin / Wiegand Reader is designed for applications that require flexible real-time Access Methods to report read status instantly to AKCess Pro Server.
The reader operates using 125 KHz or 12.56 MHz EM and MIFARE Cards within a 5-10cm radius making it suitable for Personal Access Applications.
The main advantage of using proximity card readers is that cards only need to be held near the reader in order to be read. This means less wear and tear on cards and more convenience for system users.
A single double color LED Indicator shows read status, accompanied by audio notifications for entry and exit. In addition, the casing has mounting brackets to fit the reader flush against a wall for a fully integrated fit and finish.
