VizioGuard Tiny is the ideal modular monitoring system for small applications. It supports 4 xBus peripherals which can be chosen from a wide range of devices to meet the needs of specific applications and lets you create a self-tailored environmental monitoring system. VizioGuard Tiny supports the HTTP, DHCP, SNMP, Syslog and SNTP protocols.
Advantages:
Flexible and expandable system
Up to 4 dry contact sensors and 4 xBus peripherals can be connected to the VizioGuard Tiny to set up a remote monitoring of your facilities. The user can choose from a large range of sensors and peripheral units.
Environmental monitoring
Many sensors can be used to secure your facilities by measuring temperature, humidity, ambient light, current or detecting smoke, liquid, movement.
Dry contacts monitoring and control
4 dry contact inputs at the rear of the VizioGuard Tiny can be monitored. This number can be extend by connecting Digital Input Modules to the xBus. VizioGuardTiny can also control relay output by connecting Digital Output Modules.
IP devices monitoring
A Watchdog function lets you monitor IP devices (servers, routers, camera...) through PING or Scan functions. In case of lock-up of the monitored device, an SNMP trap or Syslog message can be sent and the monitored device can be automatically rebooted over a connected power control unit.
Power supply monitoring
VizioGuard Tiny can monitor its own power supplies and send Syslog messages or SNMP traps in case of power failure. It can also monitor the power supplies of all the connected peripherals.
Accounts/ IP security
Access to the VizioGuard Tiny is protected by name and password. The administrator account allows complete configuration and control of all connected peripherals over a web browser. The administrator can create up to 40 concurrent user accounts with restricted rights.
Scheduler for time-controlled applications
This time-controlled function lets you trigger actions like power outlet control, message transmission (Syslog, SNMP traps) according to a defined time table.
Programmable rules
VizioGuardTiny can automatically carry out up to 32 rules to take predetermined actions in response to a specific event. So a rule can be defined to switch a power outlet OFF and send an SNMP Trap or Syslog message when a predefined temperature is reached or if a contact door is open.
Graphical representation
The web interface provides a graphical representation with zoom option of all environmental sensors.
RTC (Real Time Clock)
The VizioGuardTiny has an RTC which supplies accurate date and time for all logging options. This RTC can be synchronized manually or automatically using one or two NTP servers.
Concurrent access
One administrator and up to 40 users can have concurrent access to the VizioGuardTiny web server using an http connection.
Remote Power Management
Connecting Satellites power switches units to the VizioGuard Tiny enables remote power management. The administrator can create groups of power outlets to control servers with redundant power supplies and define restart and power-up delays for each power outlet.
Redundant power supply
To improve the security the VizioGuardTiny and most of its peripherals have dual power input.
Easy Configuration
Full configuration can be performed through the Web using an http Web GUI. The system has contextual built-in online help which describes all screens and functions.
Easy daisy chaining cabling
All xBus devices may be daisy chained together using standard RJ45 cables. The xBus total cable length can reach 200 m, the Light xBus (intended for light temperature sensors) total cable length can reach 20 m.
Improved log file reporting
Event logs are written to the internal log file and can be sent to a one or two Syslog Server.
