GSM Datalogger DA4 für Wasserstand, Straßenüberwachung und mehr
GSM Datalogger DA4 is a low consumption device used for continuous and long-term data collection where a permanent power supply is not available. Data may be sent to dispatch or to mobile phones using SMS.
Selected applications
- Water distribution and management industries – data collection from the water measuring shafts and other objects
- Meteorology and Hydrology – river water level monitoring, rainfall, temperature
- Transportation and construction – monitoring of roads and static structures
- Seismic events – recording of seismic activity and soil /rock stability
Key features
The datalogger DA4 can operate in sleep mode (minimum power consumption) while regularly measuring and recording input statuses. Then, the datalogger sends messages with historical value at regular intervals. If the preset limits are reached – when water flows or pressure values, etc. are exceeded, it sends a warning message immediately. If no data is being sent, the datalogger modem is constantly in sleep mode. This is an advantage as this mode saves the battery. If in on-line mode with a constant supply, the DA4 works as a telemetric station with up to 11 inputs that may be used by water and water management and sewage water treatment industries. The DA4 communicates with the dispatch or with another device via a built-in modem and via GSM-GPRS or via SMS mode. Data may be sent via SMS directly to mobile phones or stored on a web server – datahosting. The communication protocol may be selected from several standard types: IEC104, RDS, HTTP, SMS text, binary SMS. Thanks to that, DA4 may be connected to regular dispatch systems (SCADA) or it may be integrated into other systems supporting the protocols mentioned above.
- Low operating expenses
- Maintenance-free operation powered from a battery – lasting for several years
- Adjustable time for counter inputs, adjustable time for message sending
- Message sent immediately when established limits are exceeded
- Option to use datahosting and data visualization on a webpage
